چکیده

The theory of vertical pile vibration is the essential basis for integrity determination and dynamic analysis. characteristics are inevitably affected when surrounding soil frozen due to low environmental temperature. Therefore, investigation considering as a saturated porous medium great importance. In this paper, an analytical model was established by employing composite media, that is, simplifying upper layer homogeneous isotropic foundation beneath elastic half-space subjected motion rigid disk. By integral transform variable separation method, solutions proposed were derived under three-dimensional axisymmetric condition. its verified comparing them with existing end-bearing embedded in homogeneously well half-space. A parametric study conducted utilizing solutions, results indicated bottom stiffness, freezing temperature, shear modulus unfrozen soil, etc., had significant influence on responses both frequency time domains.

Plane Strain Deformation of a Poroelastic Half-Space Lying Over Another Poroelastic Half-Space

The plane strain deformation of an isotropic, homogeneous, poroelastic medium caused by an inclined line-load is studied using the Biot linearized theory for fluid saturated porous materials. The analytical expressions for the displacements and stresses in the medium are obtained by applying suitable boundary conditions. The solutions are obtained analytically for the limiting case of undrained...

A Semi-Analytical Model for the Simulation of the Isolation of the Vibration Due to a Harmonic Load Using Pile Rows Embedded in a Saturated Half-Space

The isolation of the vibration due to a harmonic vertical load using pile rows embedded in a saturated poroelastic half-space is investigated in this study. Using the fundamental solution for a circular patch load and Muki’s method, the second kind of Fredholm integral equations describing the dynamical interaction between the pile rows and the saturated poroelastic half-space are obtained. Num...

A Semi-analytical Solution for Flexural Vibration of Micro Beams Based on the Strain Gradient Theory

In this paper, the flexural free vibrations of three dimensional micro beams are investigated based on strain gradient theory. The most general form of the strain gradient theory which contains five higher-order material constants has been applied to the micro beam to take the small-scale effects into account. Having considered the Euler-Bernoulli beam model, governing equations of motion are w...

Analytical Solution of Time-Harmonic Torsional Vibration of a Cylindrical Cavity in a Half-Space

In this article an isotropic linear elastic half-space with a cylindrical cavity of finite length is considered to be under the effect of a ring shape time-harmonic torsion force applied at an arbitrary depth on the surface of the cavity. The equation of equilibrium has been written in a cylindrical coordinate system. By means of Fourier cosine integral transform, the non-zero displacement comp...
